January 2018 has come on surprisingly, with cool nights and sunless days. Everywhere we read about the funny incidents of Singaporeans in winter, and then I realised we did go online to buy ourselves two sets of superbly waterproof raincoats. We have been alternating two sets for the past five years, since our main transport is our bicycles. These are the lousy thinner-than-thin cheap raincoats, saving grace being they are brightly coloured. 5 years and still counting.
By the time the real cycling coats arrive, winter would be over.
